Atomic Learning provides software training in atom sized pieces 24/7 for 70 different Mac and PC computer applications used by students and teachers on a daily basis. The user simply types a question to begin a search for answers, chooses the short response that best fits the question, watches the video clip, and immediately applies the results. This resource includes 12,000 video clips and supporting materials (some in Spanish) and is constantly updated. Atomic Learning Training Materials
netTrekker d.i. is a searchable resource that provides access to 180,000 high quality, educator pre-screened K-12 online resources available via the Internet. All content is selected by educators,so students access only appropriate content. Teachers can save and post the sites that they want their students to use. Unitedstreaming is an online library of video streamed resources consisting of full length educational videos, key concept clips, graphics, and pictorial materials, teacher guides, and lesson plans. Materials can be put into presentations and used in development of curriculum materials. Teachers and students may view the video material on their computer or through a video projector for a classroom presentation. Over 7,700 video titles of which 500 are closed captioned are aligned with current state standards. Additional teaching resources include black line masters and quizzes on video content. SkillsTutor is an online comprehensive resource for diagnosing and meeting the needs of students. It gives students a guided review of basic skills covered by many national standardized tests. It also provides students with important practice for the standardized tests by presenting questions in the same format used by national tests in a variety of subject areas. Thinkfinity is free and easy for educators to enhance their classroom instruction with lesson plans, interactive activities, and other online resources. Thinkfinity.org also provides authoritative educational and literacy resources for students, parents and after school programs.
All of Thinkfinity.org's 55,000 standards-based K-12 lesson plans, student materials, interactive tools and reference materials are endorsed by the nation's leading education organizations to ensure that content is accurate, up-to-date, unbiased, and appropriate for students. Content partners include: American Association for the Advancement of Science; International Reading Association; National Center for Family Literacy; National Council on Economic Education; National Council of Teachers of English; National Council of Teachers of Mathematics; National Endowment for the Humanities; National Geographic Society; ProLiteracy Worldwide; Smithsonian National Museum of American History; and The John F. ELM (Electronic Library of Minnesota) is funded through the State of Minnesota for all citizens; the ELM is a rich collection of over 15 data bases accessible over the Internet. These provide information for grades Kindergarten through college as well as areas of interest to the public. You can use these databases 24/7 from any Internet capable computer. For access go to http://elm4you.org and just enter your public library card number with no spaces or dashes.
The MINITEX Library Information Network (MINITEX) has announced a new ELM Portal at www.elm4you.org., which provides a single point of access to all of the ELM databases.

Minnesota Digital Library is an initiative of the museum, library, academic and historical preservation organization of Minnesota which is dedicated to providing free and convenient computer access for everyone to digital copies of images, documents and objects that tell the stories of Minnesota and its peoples. Minnesota Reflections is a collection of more than 6,000 images of Minnesota’s first 50 years, complete with descriptions.
